As we age, our skin becomes loose and can lead to wrinkles; however, with proper care and treatment, it is possible to avoid wrinkles. Although there are lots of creams and lotions on the market, the simplest treatment may be found right in your kitchen.
The skin is made of elastic fibers called collagen and elastin. As we age and stress our skin, the fibers stretch causing the relaxed appearance known as wrinkles. Wrinkles can be treated from the outside with creams and lotions and from the inside with nutrition and proper hydration. You can prevent wrinkles or reduce wrinkles with products found in nature.
Most women are very much worried about wrinkles which can make them to look older than their age; however, with proper care and treatment you can avoid wrinkles and the guidelines for such care and treatment are generally quite simple.
The easiest thing to do is to drink lots and lots of water. It removes the unwanted materials like fat and other oily substances and helps to keep your skin hydrated always. The skin plumps up when water is plentiful in the body. External applications will hold the water in the outer layers of the skin. Papaya, avocado, oatmeal, and even melons, can be used for this purpose, or utilize creams with these active ingredients. Apply the paste of ripen papaya on your face for some time and then take bath. Repeating this process daily will not only help in wrinkle treatment but also makes your skin glowing. Cucumber also helps in the treatment of wrinkles around eyes. Place a piece of cucumber on both of your eyes. It not only cures wrinkles but also gives relaxation to your eyes.
But there are additional ways to protect your skin. Avoid exposure of your skin to sun, to avoid UV rays, which can cause damage to your skin. Do not neglect to apply sunscreen lotion while going out. Try to cover your body as much as possible without exposing it to sun and pollution.
Clean skin thoroughly. Cleansing removes clogs from pores so that the skin will smoother. A good skin cleansing routine with pH corrected cleansers is important. Or use an electronic face-scrubbing brush that is less damaging to the skin tissue.
In cooler or dry atmospheres, apply moisturizing cream to your skin. Buttermilk contains the same chemical used in chemical peels and anti-aging lotions, alpha-hydroxyacid (or AHA). Oils such as coconut, olive oil, avocado oil and cocoa butter can be applied to the skin as a mask and a moisture barrier, preventing elimination of moisture from the skin. Almond oil and castor oil have both been used as face moisturizers since Biblical times. Omega 3 fatty acids are also good for the health of the skin. Lavender and witch hazel contain natural tannins to tighten the skin.
To reduce wrinkles, it’s important to replenish the nutrients that make up the skin. To nourish the skin at night, use creams and moisturizers to rebuild your skin while you rest. During the day, skin needs to be protected from both sun and pollution.
Here are some home remedies to avoid wrinkles:
Olive oil shows better results in wrinkle treatment. Massage your skin with olive oil gently and regularly. Always massage in opposite direction of wrinkles.
Carrot juice is very effective in healing wrinkles. Take a glass full of carrot juice daily for two weeks. You can find a lot of change in your skin.
Take few drops of lemon and mix it with cream of milk. Wash your face with warm water and wipe it with hard cloth or rough towel and then apply the mixture of cream and lemon to your face and leave it for half an hour. By doing this for up to 15 or 20 days regularly, your face will be free from wrinkles and black spots.
Avoid skin stressors. The best way to avoid wrinkles is to prevent them in the first place. Minimize wrinkles by not smoking, getting plenty of rest, staying hydrated, and reducing exposure to the sun.
Get plenty of sleep. For beautiful skin, it is important to get enough sleep. Stay rested, drink plenty of water, eat your vegetables and use moisturizers during the day and at night for beautify smooth skin.
