Many of us don’t mind the idea of getting older, but we definitely want to live long and healthy lives and we want to stay young-looking. Part of taking care of our skin is to keep the skin well-moisturized.
Our skin needs moisture in order to stay supple and vital. What we put on our skin and how we protect our skin as well as what we consume all shows on our skin.
Your face is often times the first thing someone seems; what do you want your first impression to be for someone just meeting you?
Food and water are vital to our livelihood. Water more so than food. Without water we simply cannot survive. We can’t survive without food either, but we can survive a heck of a lot longer without food, but with water, than we can without water period.
It’s very important that you keep your skin well-moisturized. This means staying out of the sun and protecting your skin from the harsh rays of the sun. You should be applying sunscreen and making sure you follow a daily skincare regimen in order to keep your skin healthy.
The rays of the sun severely dries our skin out and it’s important to keep our skin balanced.
You should also avoid smoking tobacco cigarettes if you are concerned about wrinkles. Tobacco cigarettes let off nasty toxins and chemicals which affect the skin very poorly and age our faces and bodies. The damage caused by smoke to our skin is irreversible.
Keeping our skin moisturized begins with drinking enough water each day. You can also stay hydrated and get water from the food you eat, like fruits and vegetables.
Using a daily moisturizer in addition to your daily skincare regiment is another way to keep your face and body moisturized. Don’t forget about your overall body too! Moisture allows your skin to stay refreshed and elastic, which cuts down on sagging and wrinkling. If possible, use a product that already has UV protection built in and if you are using foundation, you can also find UV protection foundation as well as foundation with built-in moisturizer.
You should really be moisturizing your skin twice a day, in the morning before applying any makeup, if you wear makeup, and in the evening before bed in order to remove any makeup and any debris and dirt picked up throughout the day.
It’s important that you take care of your skin in order to avoid damage which may lead to wrinkles and premature aging.
